Peláez -Prada earned her
Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law, and her
Bachelors of Arts in Communication from the University of Texas at San
Antonio.
During her collegiate career, Peláez-Prada’s many
accomplishments included receiving the Honor of Excellence in Foreign
Languages. Fluent in English, Spanish and Italian, she was an octa
finalist in the Jenkens and Gilchrist First year moot court competition,
and a finalist in the Lone Star National Mock Trial Competition.
Peláez-Prada is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas
Young Lawyers Association, Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, National
Defense Lawyers Association, San Antonio Manufacturers Association, U.S.
and Mexico Bar Association, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She
enjoys doing pro bono work for the Battered Women Shelter and the
Children’s Shelter of San Antonio, and served in the Asociación Amigos
de Colombia. |
